Tiger Fans Do Disney Magic Kingdom
Dates: June 2 14
Cast: Lisa, Lynn, Emily and Lisas Parents
We went to Magic Kingdom several times over our two week stay and as always this park is very dear to us. We attended one early entry and one e-night. Early entry turned out to be a bust for us as it was more crowded that morning than the MK had ever been for us. We just decided to go as normal and had to deviate from my regular touring plan for early entry. The big disappointment for us was this was my parents only time at MK and we really wanted to knock out as much as possible. It was still magical, just not packed with quite so many rides.
As for E-night, this was also much more crowded than we had expected. Granted our comparison was the middle of this past January, but I can tell you, there were many more than 5000 people in MK this night. I also saw a CM selling e-tickets right during e-night at the arcade outside Space Mountain. People would try to get on Space Mtn., not have a bracelet and get denied, but then be directed in to buy a ticket. I found this a little frustrating.
The new Aladdin ride was something we were eager to try, as Emily is a big fan and we liked it. Now, its no thrill ride, but we werent expecting that, and trust me our 4 year old loved it. We tried each time around to make sure the camel got us! As always we loved the Barnstormer, Splash Mtn., Big Thunder Mtn., Buzz, and all the Fantasy Land rides. I think over the two weeks, we did cover most of the attractions, except for Hall of Presidents and the treehouse.
SpectroMagic was also new for us since our last visits and it was a hit. We thought this parade was great and are glad we worked it in the 2nd week, as it was only playing once during our first week. My favorite parade is still the Magical Moments Parade, Ill miss it dearly come October.
The other great thing about MK we did this time was better use of the train to get us to the front and rear of the park. We also used the path from Tomorrow Land to Toon Town which worked well.
As always, we love the Magic Kingdom and it truly is a magical place.
