Tiffins or Yak and Yeti

Which do you all like better?

Yak & Yeti or even Nomad Lounge is a great option.

After several tries Tiffins is off our list. BORING interior, so so service and after the initial year the menu quality has gone down while prices went up. Last time we ended up ordering appetizers from Nomad and shared a few entrees. Walked out disappointed for the last time.

Tiffins slightly edges out Nomad, but for the price Nomad is better. Yak and Yeti isn’t even close.

Love the menu at Yak & Yeti and is a great lunch option for us. Tiffins isn't too far behind and this is what we would chose while in AK for dinner.

We love yak n yeti, is a must do for us. Tiffins too expensive, and upmarket, we like casual where we don’t feel out of place

We were so excited to try Tiffins and ended up having a terrible experience. The food was fantastic but not worth the price and our server was one of the worst we've ever had in WDW (or anywhere else for that matter). This was six years ago and we've never returned. The food from Nomad comes out of the same kitchen. It's reasonably priced (by Disney standards) and we've always had stellar service. It's a must do for us on every AK day. The drinks are terrific as well.

We also really enjoy Yak and Yeti. Service is hit or miss - though their misses are miles ahead of the train wreck we experienced at Tiffins. We find it to be a good value. Really good food at decent prices.

Nomad > Yak and Yeti > >>>>>>> Tiffins

Pros and Cons for each:
Y+Y Pros: Can seat large parties, fun servers and laid back feel, menu is kind of a Chilis/PF Changs style mashup so it has a lot of accessible but interesting food. Interesting bar/cocktail options.
Y+Y Cons: Food quality has gone down in the last year or so (and it wasn't incredible to begin with - see Chilis/PF Changs comment above).

Tiffins Pros: Higher end kitchen, food quality and menu. Signature dining/Best AK restaurant so standards for food are kept high.
Tiffins Cons: Price, more reserved/serious atmosphere.

Nomad lounge is kind of the sweet spot between the two since its higher quality but lower price. So don't sleep on Nomad. Between Y+Y and Tiffins I would go Tiffins, but honestly I would much rather go to Nomad or even Satuli Canteen than either for most AK days.

We were just at Tiffins a couple of weeks ago. For us, it is always amazing. I ask and wait for a booth in the Grand Gallery. Ask them to give you a tour of the art, and tell you the stories of the design. They’ve added a burger for lunch. All the servers we’ve ever had there either genuinely like being there, or do a good job fulfilling that role.

For us, YnY is….fine. We have a PF Chang’s just down the street, and YnY is neither better nor worse than that. For us.

We did manage to get into Nomad at the end of park hours. We were there Veterans day weekend, and following. I had a solo morning in AK and ropedropped Nomad. But in between there was no waitlist availability and they were turning people away from the podium. So if it busy, don’t count on Nomad , particularly on the porch.

IMO, Tiffins is probably the best in-park restaurant on WDW property. It's one of the few places that the food quality is worth the cost.

Yak and Yeti is good, but in a fairly-high-quality-local-Chinese-food-place kind of way.

Never done Nomad because it's always busy and I feel like I stand in line enough at WDW as it is.

We love both and eat there often. Very different experiences, but we'd probably lean a little bit towards Y&Y.

Ive been to both- Tiffins was crazy expensive but it was good and we had a great server- Y&Y felt like any chain restaurant to me- like a diverse PF Changs. But the tuna nachos were very good. Depending on what your budget. Nomad lounge is better than both of these choice IMO and as other have stated is better priced, and out of the same kitchen as Tiffins. Have fun and enjoy! you'll have a good time no matter what

Where would you rank higher at Epcot? Just curious….

Personally I’d rank Jiko then Tiffins as the best restaurants I have eaten at on property, but I still have a few of the classics left to check off.

So much good food at EP!

Le Cellier, Monsieur Paul, Chefs de France, Via Napoli are all really great options and there is something about each that makes them special. I guess I wouldn't say I like them better than Tiffins, but I like them as much as.

I have one daughter that likes Space 220 best (was meant to be a one and done) and the other would chose Garden Grill. Something for everyone I guess!

Interesting...

My favorite Epcot restaurants are Spice Road and La Hacienda de Mexico, though we’re going to Takumi-Tei in January so the list my change.

As you can probably guess I tend to prefer big, interesting flavors.
