I have an early ADR at Tiffins around 4:00 p.m. and I have a fast pass for FOP around 5:30 p.m. At the time I made the adr this seemed like a good fit and it still does as far as location and timing. However, I am not really excited about Tiffins. I've read that portions are very small and the meal can take a long time.

I will be dining solo, so sitting for an extended period of time would not be my preference and the menu sounds ok. I don't care for really exotic food(s) but a few items sound fine like swordfish or the scallops. How was your experience regarding the length of the meal? Like I mentioned, I will be dining early so that could be a plus or minus. I am trying to experience some new restaurants since I will be solo. My adr is for this Friday. TIA

You will have plently of time. Tiffins didn't take long in my experience. But yes the portions are very very small. Don't come in there hungry.

You should be fine, especially solo. My son and I had dinner there one night and even doing appetizers, wine flights and sharing dessert we were out in a little over a hour. We didn't think the portions were too small and left full, but like I said we had appetizers and shared a dessert. You could always do Nomad Lounge and have a small plate if you are really worried about time. Oh, we loved the food at both by the way.

If your FP window opens at 5:30 then you won't have any issue making it. Our meal wasn't too long, but we are also pretty fast eaters, if you like to linger more over your meal then it would obviously take longer. We did not have an issue with portion size, I was completely unable to finish my whole fish entree, and DH was more than satisfied with the size of his entree. You may also consider the Nomad lounge instead.

Tiffins is one of the best meals I've ever had on property. I ate there solo in May with the ROL dining package. I didn't feel I was there for all that long, maybe an hour?? I was stuffed full after my three courses: octopus app (really, REALLY good), wagyu striploin (YUM!!), and lime cheesecake (perfect end to the meal). If I wasn't using the package, I'd have been more than fine with either just the app and dessert or just the entree as far as serving size.

You also have a bread service before the meal, and the drinks are good.

If you're worried, I agree with the pp who mentioned visiting Nomad Lounge instead.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Sounds like I should keep it. I have the deluxe dining plan so I guess thiti

Because I have the deluxe dining plan, the meal should be filling with appetizer, entrée and dessert. Sounds like most enjoyed it and it won't take too long. Thanks again!

I like the food there and I love the atmosphere--the theming is really beautiful imo. I say you should go if you've never been. Tiffins is the closest to Pandora, so you should be fine.

If traveling solo, Nomad Lounge inside Tiffins may relieve some of your angst since no ADR is necessary.

I am worried also. We have a FOP from 6-7 and a ROL Tiffins Dinner at 425pm. Do you think if we tell the waiter we have this they will serve us so we can get to FOP in plenty of time.

You have plenty of time. Even if your meal took 2 hours, which I highly doubt, you'd still have a half hour of fastpass window.
