Tiffany Towncar - Are they good or bad?

Hello, Everyone!!

I am planning my trip to WDW in May. I just got my reservations changed to POFQ ( I am so excited about this!!).

My one concern is that I have made reservations with Tiffany Towncar Service, and now I am having some concerns. I spoke with a lady at Our Laughing Place who stated that she didn't really recommend them. I have heard a few good and bad reviews from them, but I have not posted a thread on this board to get the opinion of the WDW pros.

What is your opinion of Tiffany and do you recommend them for my trip? If you do not recommend them, then who would you advise me to use instead.

I have used Mears in the past, but wanted to try something different for this trip.

I used them in May 2002 and had no problems. Our driver was Brian and he was on time for the pick up and drop off. I was going to use them for our last December trip but I wanted a stretch limo and a grocery stop ... Tiffany's told me that the stretch won't do a grocery stop. So I went with Cartier instead. We had great service with them as well... Our driver Kalim was a real delight

I have used them twice before and I am using them again this year.
I have never had any problems, they are a great company

We always use tiffany. Our favorite driver is Berkely. I requested him this time in aug. but did not get him. Maybe if I put in my reservation now for april I might get him This time we had different drivers. The first one was prompt and friendly. The return driver was very prompt and very quiet though. I even asked for an extra early pick up. I told them we had southwest and I definetely wanted to get an A ticket because one ds has asthma. We have never asked for the grocery stop and we use their van for our family of 5. They even have car seats in it already. Our youngest ds is 12 so we didnt need that. Its Tiffany all the way for us.

We have used them 2-3 times a year (yippee) and they have always been wonderful. We use the grocery stop and find that invaluable. The one time we tried another towncar service they never showed up for our return trip even though we paid in advance. We love Tiffany!

I used Tiffany Town car last month and I would highly recommend them. Because they are a service type business, they are subject to "The One Bad Experience" that will cause negative comments. Consumers who had a negative experience with a business is more apt to tell others about it than those who had a positive one. If you look at all the posts on town cars here on the DIS (and there a GREAT many of them) you will see both praise and criticism for the various companies that have been frequented. I used Tiffany because of the lower cost ($75 w/coupon to Pop Century). John, our driver both ways, was a fantastic ambassador for Tiffany Town Car, and if anyone has had the pleasure of being driven by him, you know what I am talking about.

We used them in 2000 and my Sister used them in 2003. no problems either time.

We used Tiffany on our December honeymoon trip, and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about them!

The driver made time to stop at a grocery store for us, even though I'd tried to schedule it a bit too late -- very kind of him. They were always on-time, even a little bit early, extremely friendly and very helpful. Our pick-up driver wouldn't even let DH pick up his own bag off of the luggage carousel!

We'll definitely be using Tiffany again on our next trip!

Had Berkely the first time and we were so pleased we requested him the 2nd time. When he saw that we recognized him and found out we had asked for him he smiled from ear to ear and made a point of telling other drivers.
He was extremely patient with my dtr's constant chattering, even when he was trying to read during the grocery stop.

We would not hesitate to use Tiffany next time we fly (we usually drive) and would definitely ask for Berkely again.

We have used them three times now and will be using them again in Dec. Last trip our driver (can't remember his name) even let us use his grocery card for the discounts at our grocery stop! He said "Here use this (handed my husband his card) that way you will have more to spend on your wonderful trip". It was great, and he saved us around $10! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
