I tried calling TTC this morning, and I get a message that says they don't take calls from people who block their phone numbers from caller ID. We don't even have caller ID in this area, so I don't know how mine is blocked!!???!!

Anyway, has anyone ever done all of their arranging for TTC by e-mail? I really don't feel comfortable doing this. I like talking to someone who can give me immediate feedback. I wanted to pay by credit card, and I won't send my number over e-mail.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
 
I did mine completely through their website. You are not sending your credit card by email but rather through a secured website. You will receive a written confirmation that you can print.
 
I've booked through website/email several times with no problems. But, if you are uncomfortable, email them and ask them to call you back.
 
I have booked through their website before and it doesn't involve your credit card at all unless you just insist on pre-paying.

We paid our driver with a credit card upon arrival at our resort.
 

I had that problem when trying to call them to. I ended up using my cell phone to call. If you're looking for a quick response from them, I wouldn't count on e-mail. I e-mailed them 2 days ago and I still haven't gotten a reply.

I had this same problem when trying to contact TTC a few weeks ago. I had booked via email and they confirmed with the wrong pickup date so I needed to call to clarify. Anyway, I called my local telephone carrier, Verizon, and they advised me to enter *82 before dialing the call to unblock the line. Hope this solves your problem.

I have this feature on my phone. You don't have caller ID, but you must have a private, unlisted or unpublished phone number that will not display in a caller ID box. That is what is blocked. Just do what the previous post says and dial *82 first, but know that your phone # will be displayed on their caller ID.:D
 
Thanks for the replies. I will try *82. Does that unblock it forever or just for that call? I don't care if they have my phone #. It is not unlisted or private.

I did e-mail them and left my #, but they haven't e-mailed or called back yet.

You would have to dial *82 prior to each phone call you place to unblock your phone number. I do not have call blocking, caller ID, nor an unpublished/unlisted phone number and could not understand why this was happening when trying to call TTC. I had difficulty with them updating my reservation via email even after calling them several times although I was reassured via phone conversation that the date had been corrected.

I have the same problem.......I would just use the *82...but I have the long distance on my cell...I just use that!
