I am thinking of using TTC in November. It says on their web site that you get a 20 minute grocery stop. Does Publix have a web site that you can order ahead? I don't want that much but I don't know if I can get in and out in 20. Any info is appreciated. :flower:

We have used Tiffany with a grocery stop twice in the past. We were never rushed to complete our shopping. Hope this helps.

We just stopped at Publix a couple of weeks ago and had no problem getting in and out in about 15 minutes. We've been to this particular Publix numerous times in the past though so we were familiar with the layout and where items are located. It's an easy store to make your way around though.

I agree...we used TTC for the first time this June and did the 20 minute grocery stop...not a problem at all. I'd never been to any Publix, but did what I could to prepare...made a grocery list before we left home so I'd know what to grab. Most grocery stores are similarly set up...just look at the signs above. If I remember correctly the Publix was set up as such...

Cashier/checkouts...
going to the right around the store in a counterclockwise direction...
Dairy, juice etc.
canned goods
dry goods
soda is in this vicinity
paper products
snacks
cleaning stuff
then to breads and such
then to their bakery area
the meat department (including deli I think) was along the back wall
the freezer seciton was in the back corner (if looking at a clock and the cashiers were at 6 then freezer was around 11)

It was really easy to locate items we needed especially with a list in hand...just like home.

We've had grocery stops with Tiffany Towncar three times and with Quicksilver Tours once. Each of the drivers stopped at a different Publix store, so there's no guarantee where you'll go.

We always had grocery lists ready. Because we were stocking our kitchens at DVC resorts with food for a week of breakfasts, a couple of dinners, snacks and beverages, we always needed almost the full 30 minutes. Keep in mind, that it takes longer to find things in an unfamiliar store, and you have to allow time to check out.

When Tiffany cut their official grocery stop time to 20 minutes, we switched to Quicksilver.
