Was this a Tiffany employee or was it so busy that they "rented" other drivers from somewhere else? Is there a company called "Associated?"He had our name and knew where we were going, but didn't give me a Tiffany business card when he dropped us off at the hotel with his name and the return time written on it. In fact, he was quiet and never even told us his name at all. We had the same driver on the way to the hotel and on the way back to the airport.

Chances are is was not a TTC driver. It's a common practice to use independent contractors at certain times by all the livery companies. There are only so many TTC limos & drivers available at any given time. When bookings exceed the number of available personnel or fleet, then pre-arranged independents are called in to handle the overflow. The independent essentially becomes a TTC driver at that point taking you to your destination and charging you the same amount as TTC would regardless of what his regular company would have charged for the trip. This works both ways as TTC is sometimes called to handle other company's overflows as well.
