Tiffany jewelry...can you identify this piece?

Jewelry like that scares me, lol. That people are having a hard time getting by in life with money .. where as other people go and buy things for thousands just to wear.

If its a real Tiffany piece it will have the 925 mark on it somewhere. Real Sterling silver will have that mark.

Get a magnifying glass, a bright light and look for any distinguishing marks that may be hidden.

I'm of the opinion that this piece is real.

The hearts detailing the back allows light to shine through, making the diamonds more brilliant.

You should put an add in the local paper that says "jewlery piece found on such & such bike trail, call to describe" and if the person who truly lost it is looking they can claim it. I would also file a report with the local police, it could be sentimental & someone might be at home heartbroken right now! Spread good karma! If you lost your jewlery that someone special gave you, you would hope someone tries to get it back to its righful owner.

OP, I'm not very familiar with Tiffany's collections, but the one the one thing that strikes me as odd about that piece is that the Tiffany & Co stamp looks like it is black. All the real Tiffany pieces I have seen have no color in their stamp and also I have never seen a piece other than from the "return to Tiffany" with *Tiffany and Co.* stamped on it like it was part of the design of the piece. Of course I haven't seen many of those and I own other pieces and the only thing I can say about them is that the quality is impeccable. The detailing will be perfect so if anything on it looks off its probably not genuine, including the stamping not being perfect lined up, or one of teh open hearts on the back looking imperfect.
I would take it to a local jeweler, they will be able to tell you if the silver and diamonds are real, if they are then its most likely a real piece since nobody manufacturing fakes would use real diamonds.

I couldn't tell in the picture. Is it silver color? Diamonds wouldn't be set in silver, most likely only platinum or gold.

Any jewelry store can tell you instantly whether the stones are real or fake.

When the OP mentioned it was heavy, I did wonder if it was platinum. Though Tiffany platinum doesn't really seem to be of high quality (or rather the amount of platinum they use...honestly, a woman's ring should NOT weigh MORE than a man's ring when made with the same metal, and yet their big man's ring was featherweight compared to my jeweler-made platinum ring...the saleslady tried to say it was b/c of the weight of the diamond... my itsy little diamond, yeah right!), so it might not be as heavy as I'm expecting in my head.

Here is the official word from the Tiffany guru: "Lee says no way. He can tell by "the saudering, the craftsmanship, etc. They would never do this." So he says it's totally fake.

So, it's probably not worth much except to the owner.

I have several pieces of Tiffany jewelry in silver and I just checked them....even the hoop earrings I have have the 925 on them, on the inside of the hoop, so miniscule!! I never noticed the number on every piece!
