We’ll be there in 3 weeks...yeah! How does the tie dye work? Do you need a reservation? First come first served? Thought I recall reading you can’t bring your own shirt, you have to buy one.

do they make you wear helmets to horseback ride? Can we bring our own bike helmets if so?

and I just read arcades are closed. Is that true at the campground? I’m assuming so but...bummer.

I did the tie dye a few years ago and I will tell you how it went back then (but obviously someone else may have more recent info).

No reservation required.

I went by the Bike Barn a few days before I planned to do the TD and asked if they had a shirt in my size. If they did I would have bought and used theirs. But I was afraid if I didn't check and just showed up and they were out of my size, I would be out of luck (I wear 2XL tshirts that usually shrink down to my size XL).

They had no 2XL and were not getting a delivery in the next 2 days and they said I could bring one on my own. (I don't know if they would force you to buy theirs). They charged me less because there was still a cost for the dyes themselves which was fair enough (there are 2 ways they show you can TD and one uses a lot of dye).

They just set up a few work stations and people could come and go as they wanted and share the dye bottles.

Very casual and laid back. Can't help with your other topics.

I can answer the question regarding helmets. They will not let you bring a bicycle helmet-you will need to wear their helmets. It’s a safety/ liability issue.

Bicycle helmets are actually not the same thing- a riding helmet has to meet pretty strict safety protocols in order to be classified as an “equestrian helmet”.

I wonder if they let you wear your own if you own an equestrian helmet 🤔

That I don’t know but I really doubt it. They don’t really have the time to inspect every helmet so they probably want to just make it easier to be sure everyone has an approved one. You’d have to call and ask to know for certain.
