Has anyone done this activity? How pricey was it and do you have pictures? I guess I should have called it Mickey Tie-Dye.... oooops

Hi - the kids did make their own tie dye's at Boardwalk Villas - it was inexpensive by Disney standards - I'm thinking $5-$10 - it was 2 years ago so I'm a little foggy. I don't have pictures. The kids had fun and they got a souvenir! The shirts were bagged up in ziploc bags and we washed them when we got home.

That makes it sound like something we will try to make time for then, Thank you very much.

I think the community hall activities are the most under rated - my kids really enjoyed the activities and the projects. The CMs were fun and enthusiastic - like camp counselors.

I walked past it on my last day. As I vaguely recall, it was outside on the pool level sort of between the bathrooms and The Mara restaurant. Sorry I didn't gather more info.

Are the community hall activities open to anyone or do you have to be a resort guest/DVC, etc?

All Walt Disney World Resort guests are welcome to join in the fun. You do not need to be a guest at that particular resort. You definitely do not have to be a DVC member.

We did them at BW a few years ago.....if I remember correctly, the cost was something like $13 for DVC members, $15 for non-members...or something like that. There were people complaining that some people got to pay less for the shirts! Geez Louise.
And the Community Halls usually allow anyone in to participate...but again, it could be free, or a lesser charge, for DVC members, and a bit more for non-members.

I'm not sure if it would be the same or not but we just paid $18 to do these at the Disney Hilton Head resort - I would think the DVC resorts would keep the prices comparable.
