I got one of these today to try out on my cat. Have any of you used it? Did the cat transition over easily?

I would be interested in hearing about this also.:thumbsup2

Nope, I've never used it....and neither has my cat. :teeth:

If anyone is thinking about trying the system out (for your cat!!:thumbsup2 ), it works really well. Gromit is 8 years old, and transitioned over with no problems. Now, I don't have to sweep up cat litter all over the house! I left his old litter box out with the new one beside it for 2 days, and then took the old one away. He went straight to the new one and started using it! I did take a whole bag of the new pellets and spinkled them on top of the old litter in the old litter box to get him used to the pellets.

Very cool - where did you find the system? I just read all of the info - sounds like it would work well for our cats.

Oh-I just saw this and am anxious to try it out. Tomorrow's shopping day.

I got it at Walmart, and I just love it already!! It's about $32 for the system and the bags of litter were about $6, but they are supposed to last a month. Get an extra bag to put in the old litter box.

My cat is stubborn and picky, but he went straight for it. Here is a picture of it.

I just saw the ad for this in the Walmart circular last night. The video seems like it would work better esp since I hate having to sweep up litter on the floor. I may have to try this and see how it works.

Interesting.... I wonder how well it would work for 2 cats? I might have to look further into this. My kids have to clean the litter boxes and they would LOOOOOVE the idea of only changing the pellets once a month. ;)

Is it odd that I think a litter box looks cool?

I almost want to buy it just because I like how it looks. I have problems. :headache:

Fascinating. I saw this in an add last night and was wondering how it worked. I have 2 cats. One is very finicky when it comes to the potty.
She might like this.

My Callie would like it, but I don't think Porkfat would fit so well...

If the pellets are like the Feline Pine and Yesterday's News, I may as well forget it. My Missy pee'd in the bathtub when I tried using those...

the site I saw said its not like FP. FP breaks down when wet turning to sawdust ( like woody pet for horses) apparently while this looks like it it doesnt breakdown when wet ( the pee drains though it) and dehydrates the poop...I am going to buy it tonight.. does anyone know if there is a coupon?

I haven't found a coupon. There is one in the box for the pads, though.

The pellets stay intact and there is no smell at all.

Gromit is 14 pounds, and fits in it fine.

Doesn't the pee-pad smell or is there something in it to neutralize the odor from the pee - the ammonia smell?

The pad doesn't have an odor. The package just says that it is odor-controlling.

How often do you change the pad and how much do they cost?

I don't think my Maine Coons would fit and neither would my basketball shaped pound kitty.

I would love to get rid of litter dust though
