been a long time since i bought individual tickets. going for a 2 day rush visit with 6 adults, 1 child. going to park hop on day 1 and do a water park on day 2. what's the best way to buy tickets through disney. do i get 1 day hopper and add on water or buy 1 day and water separately

I have to say that this is about THE most expensive way to visit WDW.
(Short trip with two theme parks in one day and one WP day.)

Buy a one-day park hopper ticket and a separate, stand-alone one-day WP ticket.
Both directly from Disney.

I'm gonna disagree with Robo on this one.

A one-day Park Hopper Plus ticket will let you do one day of theme park hopping and then a water park on a different day for much less money than buying a stand-alone WP ticket in addition to a regular one-day hopper.

Yup.
With the new ticket structure, after buying the Hopper option (which is expensive, on its own) adding the WP upgrade ("Park Hopper PLUS") just costs $15 more.

I just goofed on that over site.

thanks robo and raven. i agree about expensive but i am talking in-laws here so i have learned just to go with the flow lol
