Tickets

Hi All, this is probably like a Disney 101 question but I need some help...I've only been to Disney once pre-magic band era and the tickets at the time were a gift....so our upcoming Nov trip is the first I'm getting myself. We rec'd our magic bands for Christmas and I immediately synced them with our mydisneyexpierience account. Today I purchased the tickets using the ap so the tickets are linked to each of us which is linked to our magic band. As I understand it this means we don't need a ticket and can go straight to the gate and use our magic band to get in. First, is that correct? Second, i understand that there can sometimes be glitches in the system and it would be good to have the actual ticket as well. We are flying in on a Friday and our first park day isn't til Sunday....so if we want to pick up the actual ticket as a back up before our first park day, where do you suggest we do this? I think we can only do this at the parks so would we have to pay to park? We just don't want to have a glitch and waste precious park time waiting in line to fix something....thank you in advanced for your help on this very basic question!! I just couldnt find recent info today when i googled this....Oops, also wanted to ask if there is a way to pick up Universal tickets prior to park day as well? Again, without paying a huge fee to park since we don't plan on being there long.....thank you!!!!

You won't need the tickets, but it doesn't hurt to have them. You could get them at either of the two Guest Relations locations in Disney Springs, where there is no parking fee.

you can also go very early if MK is your first day they let you in about 45 - 30 minutes before the park opens to watch the train show EPCOT dose this too and they make you stop just before space ship earth so I would guess AK and HS dose the same thing if you have problems with your tickets then you will have time to get it fixed
