I know about the discount for the annual pass is there a discount for a single day ticket. after we get off the dream in july want to go to MK for a day

There are no theme park ticket discounts for DVC members except for the lower priced Annual Passes.

Only the water parks and DisneyQuest have a single day ticket discount available for members.

I'm also curious about you seasoned DVC veterans and your common practices when adding tickets and dining plans. I doubt I will ever go often enough to warrant an annual pass. (I'm flying in from Baltimore...)

Do you wait until you check-in to buy? Do you use discount ticket sites? Do you buy a full dining plan, or shave off a few nights because of the kitchens? Any other tips?

If we're not doing APs, we would purchase tickets through Undercover Tourist to save a few dollars. We have not bought Disney tickets from them (we've had APs almost the entire time since we bought DVC), but we just got Universal tickets from them in the fall. They have an excellent reputation - I would definitely use them.

As for the dining plan - I have never ever gone to Disney with a dining plan, so no experience there.
