I know this is probably going to sound like a silly question but if I have 7 days worth of tickets + water park option does that mean when we go to a water park it's considered 1 of our days? I was assuming it would, but then I remember someone saying you could go to two water parks the same day even though we don't have the hopper option....so would that take away two days?

No, the DAYS are for the main parks. The water parks (options) are counted separatly. So if you go to a water park, then subtract one option. If you go to PI that evening, that will be a second option. But, you will still have all 7 DAYS left.

seven days of parks... seven pluses... the pluses can be used for water parks, disney quest, and pleasure Island. the parks are well... the parks.

Park tickets and water park & more tickets work differently.

Your (non hopping) park tickets will get you into one of the 4 major parks per day.

Your water parks & more options are separate admissions. You could go to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Disney Quest and Pleasure Island all in 1 day, but you would use up 4 of your 7 admissions.

Does that make sense?

Best explanation of this I've ever read... Edited to fit your situation

Although your park tickets and Water Park Fun & More tickets are all coded onto the same card, you should view them as two very separate tickets, because they are.

The 7-day park hopper gives you 7 days of admission to any/all of the 4 theme parks each day.

The 7 WPF&M admissions are just that ... 7 individual admissions to any of the WPF&M gates (the water parks, Pleasure Island, Disney Quest, WWoS). The use of your WPF&M admissions is TOTALLY SEPARATE from your use of theme park tickets.

Let me give an example (and this example is taking advantage of the no expiration feature the OP bought). You could go to theme parks for 7 straight days, and then go to one water park for 7 straight days AFTER that. OR you could do a theme park AND one or more WPF&M admissions on a given day. It's all up to you.

Think of the WPF&M admissions as if you had 7 paper tickets. Each time you enter a WPF&M gate, you have to give one of those tickets. If you go to Blizzard Beach in the morning, Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon, Disney Quest in the evening and the clubs at Pleasure Island late that night, you'll have used up 4 of your 7 WPF&M admissions in a single day. I'm just including this for illustration purposes.

Please ask more questions if you have any.

I think so, lol. Soooo it sound as if I was thinking correctly. If I use one day at Blizzard Beach, I have 6 other admissions left. If I choose to do Typhoon Lagoon as well I would have 5 left. I don't have park hopper option but I can use multiple water parks/Disney Quest etc in one day....just can not switch main parks??

Okay so I thought I was thinking correctly but now i'm thinking I had it all wrong, lol. So you are saying that I can use 7 days in the parks & then on my 8th day I can still get in to a water park??

:confused3 ...seriously lol

Okay guys, I've reread every reply and think I finally get it, LOL
Thankyou!!:rotfl2:

It was a bit confusing for us initially too (it was clear as mud at first), but once we figured it out it has worked out well. We tend to get a 4 or 5 day ticket (hopper or not), but stay around 9 or 10 days. Having those separate admissions works well, IMO.

For the optimal stretching of your investment in the ticket, if you don't do more than thing on the same day, you can actually make a 7-day base ticket w/ WPF&M last for 14 days at Disney - 7 days in the parks and 7 days at WPF&M options. Chances are, though, that in actuality you'll probably want to mix WPF&M options with park days or multiple WPF&M options on the same day.

This is good to know, i am down for 11 days, and can only get 10day tickets... Looks like one day is going to be pure Water Parks, Disney Sports and Disney Quest (and maybe a DVC tour day for me)

I have a 4 day hopper pass. I will be staying in Florida from Sunday May 11th-Sun May 18th......so, even If i don't use the hopper, I will be able to attend 1 park a day (4) plus the 2 water parks? = 6 days of fun? :flower3:

A 4-day hopper doesn't include the water parks. But if you add the WPF&M option, your statement is correct.

Plus, you'll still have two additional WPF&M admissions left to use. (You get 4 with a 4-day ticket.) Perhaps a night at Pleasure Island or some time at Disney Quest?

You can make changes to a ticket other than a straight upgrade. If you decide you want the WPF&M option, but don't really need the park hopping, you can make that change (so long as you haven't used park hopping). The price difference will be about $5 (plus tax) per ticket. If you want to add the WPF&M and also keep the park hopping, the upgrade price will be $50 (plus tax) per ticket.

This is a "canned" response with the assumption you have a seven day MYW ticket with both the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More (WPF&M) options.

Hopefully this will make it a little clearer. In effect you have two tickets with different privleges on one card. Everything expires 14 days after first use unless you have the no-expire (NE) option. If you have the NE option all the entitlements are good until they are used up. Even if you use up all your major park days, the WPF&M enries remain valid until used. (Note you do not have to use the days consecutively.)

You have seven days of access to the four major parks (AK, DHS, EC, MK), and may visit more than one major park on a single day without any extra charges. Without the Park Hopper option you can only go to one major park per day.

You have seven entries to the minor parks (BB, DQ, PI, TL, WWS). These may or may not be used on the same days as you go to the major parks. However, if you went to TL in the morning, DQ in the afternoon, and club hopping at PI in the evening of one day you would have used three of the seven entries. (Note that leaving and returning to the same minor park on the same day does not use an extra entry.)

If you go to minor parks only on one day and do not go to a major park you do not use up one of your major park days.

If you were to go to a Water Park in the morning and then one of the major parks for the remainder of the day you would have used one minor park entry and one day of major park entry.

Note that with the MYW ticket unless you have the hopper option you can only go to one major park per day. Unless you have the WPF&M option you cannot go to a minor park without upgrading or purchasing a separate ticket.

(I work as a Greeter/Tickets/Guest Services at one of the Water Parks.)
