Who has experience with Bluegreen?

I apologize to admins if this is not okay to ask. I have a friend whose wife recently passed and she was the person who handled their Bluegreen timeshare. He does not want to keep it and asked me what to do. I am clueless. He has the paperwork. Has anyone here sold Bluegreen? Can you steer me in the right direction? The last thing he needs right now is me giving him bad advice.

You should ask on Timeshare Users Group boards. My in-laws own Bluegreen so the only things I know about it are things I've picked up by using their ownership and attending owner updates (my spouse is on the deed as well). I wouldn't know where to begin on advising him what to do with a Bluegreen ownership he doesn't want anymore.

There does appear to be at least some form of a market for Bluegreen, but it almost certainly depends on what she (they?) own. There is also the fact that the (an) owner cannot sign, because she has passed. I'd think the first step is to include this in the discussion with the lawyer helping handle her affairs.
