okay so I have an old ticket that doesn't expire and I would like to give it to my roommate so she can go to Disney with me for my birthday. They said that they couldn't change the name on the ticket. Now I've never used this ticket so my fingerprint isn't like in the system for it. So if we go into different lines while going into the park will they know that she isn't me if she uses my old ticket and I use my new one?

or Do you know anyway that I can show her residency in Florida if she is a student in Florida and her mom lives there but technically her permanent address is in New York?

It doesn't matter if your name is on the ticket and she uses it assuming you have never used the ticket. I have had extra tickets with my name on them (having gotten them for free dining) and saved them. I have then taken friends with me to Disney and given them the ticket to use. We always go through the line one after another; no problem.

Unused tickets do not have a finger scan associated with them and are freely transferable. It is just partially used tickets that cannot be transferred.

Really? They told me they weren't able to be transferred at all.

You aren't transferring the ticket - you are taking an unused ticket and giving it to someone to use....its fine. Transferring a ticket would be taking a three day ticket that you used one day on and giving it to someone else to use for the other two days.

It doesn't matter that it has your name on it. You did not use it. It is an unused ticket.
