Tickets purchased within a room package

Hi. I have booked 2 packages. 1 is a bounceback which is room, free dining and required tickets. I bought minimum ticket required which was a 2 day plus waterpark option. I planned to save these 2 day tix for a future visit and use 6 day tickets I already own. But now when I look in my MDE Acct, it shows the 6 day tickets expiring Dec 31st 2030; It shows the 2 day waterpark ticket only valid during our 7 night trip dates! Is this a new policy? If so it really messes w my plan. I also booked another package for my daughter for August 2017 under the 1 free qs meal package. I bought minimum ticket required for that package, which is a 2 day base, planning to also give her dome 6 day tickets I have. In her MDE acct it also says her 2 day base tickets are only valid during her trip dates! Someone please help me w this. People on liners chat are not understanding my dilema/questions about this

Those tickets don't become valid until your trip dates but once they become valid they will stay that way until they are used just like your current tickets. Make sure you either prioritize the tickets or reassign then once they are active so that the correct 6 day tickets are used.

Thank you Diney Alli. Are you sure this isn't a new policy w Disney where package tickets must be used within package dates? People on lines are also saying these tickets are non transferable to another person. Im ok with that but not ok if I have to use them during package dates or lose them!

No new policy has been announced.
If that were the case, it would be foolish to buy tickets as part of a package, unless they are required, as in your free dining situation.

But, at that point, the normally very poor "savings" of so-called "free" dining would be of even less potential value.
