Tickets - PH vs AP?

Hello everyone,

We are travelling to WDW for nine days in October. This will be our first time!

Does anyone know if it's worth it to buy Annual Passes or are Park Hopper passes a better idea?

Also, any suggestions for the best place to purchase tickets?

I went for 11 days in May and my BF and I decided to get APs, mostly because we got a great AP rate at CBR and AKL. We also used the APs for discounts at some restaurants and for mini-golf

We were initially going to purchase ours at the Disney Store, but there was a mix up and the manager did not order the passes with the Disney Club discount. We just ended up purchasing them at the airport when we got there.
