Tickets on Room Key?

I was told by CM at AKL that if I purchase my tickets at the front desk of the resort they can add them to my room key.

Does the new ticket policy mean that in order to save some money on the tix I have to buy them in advance and then have to carry an additional card because I can't have them added to my room key?

That is a good ? I just purchased tickets in advance and would like to Know if I could add them to my room key when we get to WL.

When the announcement came out, I called CRO to have Park Hoppers added to my ressie. I was hoping this would mean that the CM would add them to my room keys at check-in, but the CRO CM said the tickets would come in the mail and could not be added to the room key.

Rumor has it that the CMs are not going to be adding tickets purchased elsewhere to roomkeys any more, even though most of them haven't been doing it recently anyway. It will be a little less convenient, but not incredibly so, since both the keys and the tickets are small and easy to carry.
