Tickets obtained from loyalty points

We can obtain tickets from a Canadian loyalty rewards program (Air Miles). However they only have 2 day passes in stock at the moment and we need 3 day passes. Anyone know if you can upgrade from Child to Adult or add on a day without any issues with these kind of tickets?

With the WDW passes you can but you have to use them once to have them reset to their gate value. We could do that with the US tickets if need be.

Other US loyalty groups have reported being able to upgrade their tickets. I would imagine that the Air Miles ones would be the same. You wouldn't have to use them first though. You can email Universal customer service just to make sure.
