Tickets not posting to my reservations

My special event tickets for Mickey's Christmas party are not posting on My Disney Experience. Is this normal?

Is this a hard ticketed event? We are going to MNSSHP and I had to go in and manually add in each ticket and assign each ticket to a member of our party in My Disney Experience. MNSSHP is a hard ticketed event, but I was able to link it to our account in this way. Just go to "Reservations" and "add a ticket", then type in the ticket numbers on the back of your cards. Then it will ask you to assign a card to each member of your party.
I went ahead and spent the time doing this hoping that when they scan our MagicBands upon arrival to the MK the morning of MNSSHP, they will just band us at that point so we don't have to return to get banded at 4PM.

I had the same issues with the MNSSHP tickets. They show up under tickets, and are assigned to each person, but I can't add the event under "my plans" (or add the parade either, as it doesn't list a time). I finally gave up. I'm staying off-site, so that may be part of it.

Yes, you need to add it manually right now. Not sure if they will change it when everything is finally up and running properly. Just go in and add as above and you should then see it available. Not sure if it shows up under "my plans". Just go into the day and add it.

sadly, MDE is very sadly lacking when it comes to special events such as MNSSHP and MVMCP. you do have to add the tickets manually, but they will not add to your plans, nor attach to your MB. You can add a note in your plans for that day, but that is all. Oh, but they will show up under your tickets.

I've found this with tours too. We're doing Behind the Seeds and I can only add it as a note. There is no way for me to even keep track of my confirmation number in MDE for it.

Come on Disney, get it together already! And while you're at it, add WL to MB testing!!
