Tickets linked - can we enter separately?

I bought the tickets on the app. They come unassigned so I put "nicknames" on them for each of us. I'm traveling with two other adults so I have 3 tickets. All 3 of us have the app and we are linked together in a group and we can all see all 3 tickets.

If for some reason, the two of them wanted to get up earlier than me and go to the park - or one of us goes back to the room and rests and comes back later - we can split up right? Even though I bought the tickets?

How do we actually know which ticket got scanned for which person?

What happens if they want to buy a paid pass to get on a ride (just the two of them) and I'm back in the room - can they do this as well?

We're going to DL the day after we arrive and I'm concerned the jet lag is going to hit me harder than my son and his friend that is traveling with us (just to be clear, they 20 something adults) and I may need more rest. I just can't find clear answers to this.

If all your tickets are uploaded to each person's app, and you've created a group, then anyone can purchase the paid passes for anyone; you'll be asked to choose for whom. Just choose the ones you want. Each person's ticket is stand-alone, so each person can come and go as they wish.

So the app will assign a ticket use to them when we go in. Each of us can scan a ticket on entry I'd guess. Thanks for confirming this!

Probably better to do it as soon as you get your tickets, and create your linked group. One less thing to worry about at entrance time.

So I just bought three tickets but they are all under my app only and I just added my name only... I dont plan on the others having the app etc.. I wanted to manage all from my phone... we are also doing one day where I do the full day and the other two tickets are evening only.. my plan is I leave the park and meet with them and we all enter at the evening pass time again together..

I hope this works?! my DH and his buddy have no desire to download and manage Disney...lol.. I also checked and I hope is true I can tghen also buy fast passes for all three from my phone.. right??

Have you traveled already? I got back at the end of February. For our DL day, each of us scanned in with our own phones picking the tickets I had assigned names to (so each with his own named ticket so to speak). That worked fine and all of us had the option to buy the "fast passes" for each other or just for ourselves.

For our 2nd day at Disney Sea - I had the tickets pulled up on my phone coming out of the monorail. My other two (son and his friend) waited until we got in line and they weren't able to get the app to work - the cell signal just wouldn't do it. We all had the same e-sims which worked fantastic in every other instance the entire trip - just not right there at that moment. Anyway....we scanned the tickets all of us using my phone. Then we noticed that once they got in the park and tried to use the app to buy fast passes, they couldn't. However I could get them for all 3 of us so it worked out. We never ended up splitting up. Otherwise we would have checked with guest services to see how to fix the issue. Seems like you could all use the same phone (we passed it from one person to the next as we scanned the ticket and went through the gate).

If you all plan to stay together mostly in the parks - it was fine doing all the pass purchasing myself. I don't think they could have mobile ordered food but we never tried. We had passes for one ride and I decided not to ride - so I just sent them screen shots of the barcode that needed scanning and that worked for them.

Only if you're all roaming the park independently - going on different rides at different times, etc.

If you want to experience things together, then having all tickets on the one phone / app is fine and I would say is the preferable way to do things (although having multiple guests checking the app on separate phones could be helpful to secure the much desired Disney Premier tickets for Frozen).

However, I would note that if 2/3 are entering after 5pm, it's unlikely many passes will still be available (whether paid Disney Premier, free 40th Anniversary Priority Pass or (if applicable in DisneySea) free Standby Passes).
