Hey DVC members, I need some advice. we will be leaving for Disney on Friday June 11, 2010. Since I had AAA ,we ordered tickets to save some money. When I got the tickets today, I was disappointed because the tickets were made from thin paper. I'm concerned that if the tickets get wet or just going in and out of the parks and water parks they will not be useable. We have always had the cards that remind us of a credit card. When you spend the money on 7day park hopper and water parks, you expect to get something durable. What should I do or what can I do.
I sure could use some advice or help. I'm very stressed now. Please educate me on my options. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Thanks
Dianna

It is actually made of Tyvek. It is super strong and will not rip. The AP are made of the same material.

OTOH, you can add your tickets to your KTTW card upon arrival at the lobby concierge.

The majority of Disney tickets that aren't on the room cards (which may be all tickets now for all I know) are made of that Tyvek - no worries - they work just fine. We had the same APs over 4 trips and it's made out of the same stuff and never had a problem with any of them.

There's no need to be stressed. As the others have mentioned, they are not paper, but Tyvek, which is an extremely durable material. Certainly take care to not damage them, but you'll find they are far sturdier than paper.

What I WOULD advise, though, is that you make a photocopy of all of them (the back side with the numbers). Tickets can be replaced if you have the ticket number. Make a couple of copies, put one in your wallet, one in a suitcase you'll be taking to Disney.

If they are not APs, you can add them onto your room key. I highly recommend this -- one less card to carry around -- and it's quite simply to do. Bring your tickets to the front desk, along with your room keys, and they will add the park access within a few minutes.

Wow, they can add AAA tickets to Room Key?

Didn't know this! That alleviates the OP worry about getting AAA tickets wet!

How long have you been able to do this?

Much thanks for suggestion!:banana::banana::banana:
