Tickets from AAA? Are they actual tickets or vouchers?

My title pretty much says it. My mom bought tickets over the phone from Disney but they were only vouchers...we still had to go through the hassle of changing them over to tickets when we got to Disney.

I'd like to buy a 1 day ticket from my local AAA for the family, but I'm not wanting a voucher. I want an actual ticket so I don't have to stand in any lines when I'm at the park

Anyone know?

I just called AAA to check prices on their tickets. I also asked what form the tickets came in. They told me they were plastic cards that would work in the entrance machines and the fastpass machines. I was interested in the 10-day ticket. I'm not sure if they sell APs, but if they do, they are probably in a different form.

Our AAA sells the actual tickets, but they do not carry anything under a 3 day pass.
As far as I know the only "ticket" that comes from Disney as a voucher is the Annual Pass. Our AAA here in PA does not offer the AP.

From what I've read, it depends on what AAA office. Some offices/regions sell vouchers, some have actual tickets.

Our AAA here in Florida has the 1 day pass. I just wasn't sure on whether or not it was an actual ticket. But it looks good from your posts! The lady on the phone said it was an actual ticket but she didn't really seem like she was very friendly, so I wasn't sure. I guess I'm being overly cautious!

Every time I have purchased from AAA I have received actual tickets. Our AAA sells a limited range of tickets at a discount; no 10-day passes, for example.

My AAA office sells the plastic cards that look like credit cards...they have a kiosk right in the office with several to choose from. If you book a package, however, you will get a voucher and your tix, meal plan, etc. will all be encoded onto your room keys at check in.

I got vouchers to get my actual passes on my room key card for my resort so I only have to carry one thing around. I can also use the key as a credit card. I think its a really good idea but I can see how it isn't for some.

This is interesting--we booked for our trip thru AAA, and our agent says our 'packet' will arrive 3 weeks before we leave. Then I have to go in and she will go over it with me. But it will be a while before I get that done--we are approaching our 90 day mark.

I bought a 4 day Fl resi pass last year on their web site. I got in the mail vouchers that I could turn in at a park in exchange for tickets or to have them added to our WDW hotel key card.
