HI, Fiance and I will be in Orlando for a wedding and are planning to stop at Disney for 2 days, 3 nights. We had our hotel booked through a friend. We are interesting in going to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom so we are in need of the "basic" tickets for two days. No hopper passes. What is the best route to purchasing these tickets? Disney stores only sell tickets for 3 or more days. I quoted a price of $238.00 from Disneyworld.com. Is there anything out there that I am missing? Also, does anyone know if we can take the magical express from our disney hotel to the airport. We will have a rental car from the airport to the wedding but will need transportation from the disney hotel back to the airport. Thanks in advance for your help!

What about trying discountorlandovacation.com? I think they have a 2 day ticket. Try doing a search on "2 day".

will you ever go back in your lifetime? if so, i would take out an "insurance policy" against inflation and buy the ten day premium no expiry from undercovertourist.com for $362... it's a bit of an expense now, but it really saves you money in the long run... and that being said, with that ticket when you are done at AK in the early evening, you can head over to another park for dinner (epcot or mgm) and watch the evening show (illuminations or fantasmic)... at least that's what i'd do! LOL!

if you are staying at a disney hotel, yes, you can book ME for the ride to the airport... just call and reserve it in advance...

I know that others would probably disagree...but I would look into the "convention" tickets that people are selling on Ebay. They are 2 day hoppers plus a visit to DQ or PI. They usually go for under $130. Look for someone with high positive feedback.
Again...I'm sure others have been burned on Ebay...but I just never have.

$130 for a two day ticket... that's $65/day... gate price! i still stand by my "buy a multi-day no expiry ticket" and use it when you come back, locking in your next trips ticket price at 2005 prices!

I found 2 day tickets through ticketmania.com I had to ask on the phone, but they were reasonable.

How much were the two day passes through Ticketmania, if you don't mind telling? That's what we need for our trip in August.

I'm with you...but some people can't afford it and/or don't know if they will return. On Ebay you can basically get a 2 day hopper + DQ/PI for the same price as a 2 day basic at the gate. I'm sure that ticketmania has comparible prices.

Gate- 2 day basic - $127
Gate- 2 day hopper- $164
