"Normally," no.
(And, whether or not they have been connected to your MDX is not normally a factor.)
But, it is likely that there will be some variation on this rule due to the extraordinary nature of this closure.

Regardless, unless there is some absolute need to resolve this issue immediately,
it would be considerate (and likely save yourself a lot of time and anxiety) if you would not actively pursue the issue for at least another week (or longer.)
Give all who are involved some time to get new info and procedures in place and to allow them to better get the "immediate issues"resolved.
