TIckets before we arrive

Hi all!
We are scheduled to be at DL and DCA on June the 16. We are planning 3 day park hoppers. Should I be thinking about purchasing these ahead of time?

What about ADR's for Arel's grotto? I was thinking that this would be our character meal, but if it's not recomended please let me know.

This is our first trip to DL and DCA. We are WDW vets (my 8 year old has been 15 times ) But this whole west coast thing has me a bit confussed.

I'll happily take any advice thrown my way!

You will save money if you purchase tickets in advance instead of at the gate. You can even get them for a bit less than the advance price through some discounters (Ares and Get Away Today). You can pre-purchase any type of ticket on-line on the Disney site or certain types from the Disney Store or AAA.

You can buy your tickets before you go from AAA, getawaytoday.com or even from the hotel that you are staying at. It will be much, much cheaper than buying them at the gate.

I would make an ADR for Ariel's Grotto before you go. Just call disney dining at: I have to find the number. I'll get back to you if someone else doesn't post it first.

Thanks. I'm so excited about going to where it all started!! My kids are excited too... they know that Walt walked the streets of DL but he only was able to dream the streets of the Magic Kingdom.

If you purchase your tickets from GetAwayToday you will get two magic mornings instead of just one (unless you're staying at one of the 3 Disney hotels, then you get them all). They're the only ones who do that for 3-day or more park hoppers. You can get them online and use the discount code "podcast" to waive the $10 handling fee.
