Tickets at Will Call - do you need the whole party there?

Hi everyone!
I'm planning a trip with my extended family in November. We're a party of 13, and we wanted to stay on-site, so we rented points. It'll be my first time without a package and my first time using Will Call for the tickets. I was wondering if I could go get the tickets for everyone at a theme park while the rest of the party relaxes at our resorts, or if everyone needs to be there when we pick up the tickets?

Thanks a lot :)

When we went to pick up our renewal AP's(Oct 2014) - they would not give me my husbands since he wasn't with me, so I think everyone has to show their own ID.

I know for sure if you are using Florida resident you have to all be there...at least all adults

When DSIL picked up the military discount tickets at the will call window for his family on our last trip he did not need to have the entire family there. The active or retired military member must be present in order to pick up the discounted tickets but I am not aware there is a requirement that all members of the party need to be present for pre-purchased tickets that are not military.

Oh, that's good news! Thank you very much :)

You can pick up Will Call tickets (not APs) at any WDW resort concierge desk.

Okay, I am confused. If the group is staying onsite, why do you need to pick up tickets at all? Can't you just link them to your MDE accounts and access the information using MBs?

That is correct.

Actually that's a good point. Unless you need the card itself, you may not need the actual ticket card if your MBs can grant you access.

Do you get MBs if you bought points? Maybe they don't automatically get MBs...

This is a great question for me to learn. I would think on the surface that you would only need the confirmation number, the credit card used to purchase the tickets, and the ID that matches that credit card. I don't think everyone needs to be there, if they aren't APs, or FLRs. I think once the credit card/buyer has been verified, they should be able to pick up the tickets on the order (again, presuming that they aren't buyer-specific.) (MIL is different, they get a certain number in their group already that qualifies, whereas EVERY FLR adult must prove residency.)

If you don't have MBs, I'd get them or lanyards. I always suffer from 'where is my ticket-itis' and MBs have fixed that for me!

I have no idea! I did link the tickets + 3 APs in MDE, and we do get Magic Bands... I guess this is a case where I should maybe call, because I'm getting confused.

Than if you have MBs, you might not need will call pick up?
Will Call just for APs. Each person with a new AP or renewal AP has to show up in person to claim their AP.

For Military AFS 4-day tickets, the soldier or spouse can pick up his/her allotment of tickets alone, with Military ID. But the ppl receiving tickets from the soldier's allotment have to furnish name, address, city, phone, dob to the soldier. Disney/SoG will ask for this info before issuing the family and friends' tickets.

With that information, you are all set. You do not need to pick up any tickets. No need to call.

If for some reason you decide you'd rather use a card than the MBs, I believe you can get that at any guest relations or your resort.
