I think I already know the answer to this but since this board is truly a wealth of information I thought I'd ask... besides using Undercover Tourist is there any other way to get a really good discount on tickets?

I know, I know, I'm reaching.

Well, you could go to undercovertourist's site through the special mousesavers newsletter link for an even better price than just going straight to uct. :)

Just purchased mt tix today from undersover tourists mousesavers newsletter link. I searched and searched, and they were the lowest I found, and highly recommended. Not 2 hours after ordering they mailed my tix and sent me my tracking number. I heard that this weekend prices are going up, so you may not want to wait too long.

Whoa! Thanks for the heads up!

Sorry for the dumb ? I'm about to ask ;)

Is it cheaper to buy the tickets with the undercover tourist code than to do a package deal directly through WDW?

Almost always. If you're one of the rare people that the dining plan actually saves money for (not just gives the illusion of), maybe not. If there is an excellent package deal, but no room-only deal or not as good of a room only deal, possibly not. The 4/3 deal is an example of that.

The Undercover Tourist link in the MouseSavers newsletter is an excellent deal, but not always the best. Do shop around, just in case. For example, Undercover Tourist started selling at the new prices after last year’s price increase long before other discount brokers, like Maple Leaf Tickets, did. Even though Maple Leaf charges for their shipping, it was still a better deal. Also, lots of employers participate with Tickets at Work, which often way beats Undercover Tourist, but their discounts vary. Sometimes it is as little as 5% and other times it is as big as 15%. If you have an employer who is connected to Disney in some way, they often also beat Undercover Tourist. DHs company only sells certain tickets, but it’s 20% off, so we buy those tickets and upgrade to the ticket we want which still saves us way more than we’d save through Undercover Tourist.
