Tickets and hotel ???

Okay if you are there 6 days and buy a 10 day pass which, is cheaper than adding the park hopper onto a 7 day pass, couldn't you park hop with the extra 3 days of tickets. Has anyone tried this before?

I was quoted $1817.12 for 2 adults and 2 children for six nights at Port Oleans hotel with 10 day pass for October 2006. Is this a good price or could I do better to get hotel and tickets separately? What do you all think.

No you can't use non park hopping tickets to park hop.

The tickets don't work that way. Once you enter a park with a non park- hopping ticket, the ticket will not be valid to enter a different park on the same day.

In order to park hop, you need to upgrade your tickets to the park-hopping option. Without the park-hopping option, every time you enter a park, you use a day's park admission - even it is the same day as you entered another park.

Your ticket will only be able to be scanned once that day. You won't be able to say leave AK and go to MK on the same day and just use another day of the pass. Bummer, I know, but it would make it easy for people to save money by not buying hoppers, which means Disney looses money so not gonna happen.

Not true. The computer will only take one day off any ticket on a given day. If you have a base (non-PH) ticket, the computer will not accept it at the turnstile of any other park on the same day you used it at another park. It is impossible to use more than one day at a time off of any one ticket with the MYW tickets.

Thanks for the info about the tickets. I knew there was a catch to using the 10 day base like park hopper tickets but just wanted to make sure.
