Tickets can be purchased at any time and you can book a room only 499 days in advance with the knowledge that when the prices increase so will the cost of the room. Next year's packages (room plus tickets) are released in the summer, typically July.

You can call on the phone now and book room only for the dates you want in 2017. They will take a deposit of I think $200 or one night something like that. The rest due when you check in. Then you can buy tickets online right now or anytime up until your trip (you will pay for them in full at purchase). Buying tickets now will protect you from the upcoming ticket price increases that are inevitable.
When the 2017 rates are released sometime this summer your room only total will be adjusted for 2017 rates.
Sometime late fall 2016 there will likely be 2017 early Spring packages and room only discounts released and then after Christmas late Spring/early Summer discounts so you can call to see if it saves you any $ then.

Hey thanks for your help with everything

I just called them there and they said no rooms are available for start of next year yet

However they said I can purchase park tickets and there is no expiry date on them

Do I just buy the 2016 park tickets on the website ? And will this work for sure if prices are deerer in 2017 as on the website am sure it said use in 2016 ?

Also am I better getting park tickets now at this years prices or am I better waiting till I book the room as well as a package to get a better price ?

Tickets don't expire until they're used. You can buy tickets today and not use them until 2027 if you want.

i see you are in the UK. There are different packages available for the uk. Uk tickets are only valid for the year they are bought for.
Depending on offers you can book via the UK or via USA but they have different terms and conditions.

It's hard to say which way is better. I've booked trips both ways in the U.S. and I can't say there was a huge price difference between room only with separate tickets versus a package. I guess I'm saying that the savings wouldn't be so significant that you'd really regret whichever way you choose. I don't have any knowledge of booking trips from the U.K. though. Maybe some one here would know if there are any threads for trip planning from overseas. Happy planning!
