Ticketmania Tickets

I ordered my tickets from Ticketmania and was wondering if they are already activated. If not, how do I do it? We got some DQ tickets from them in Sept, and when we went to use them they hadn't been activated. It wasn't a problem thankfully. The CM activated it right there. Is this typical or was that a fluke?

Also, I notice that there is a place for names on the tickets now. Do we put our names on them now, or do we do that in front of a CM? TIA!!!

I can't answer your question about activating park tickets, but can you help me with DQ tickets? I just bought some through Ticketmania for DQ. Do they activate them right at DQ? I had no idea I had to activate them.

I'm not clear on the term activated. I've bought tickets from ticketmania.com, and we just walked up to the parks and stuck them into the card readers -- no one ever said anything about activating them. Admittedly, I've never bought Disney Quest tickets. Perhaps they're different in some way because they're one-shot deals? I've only bought park-hoppers.

I've bought park hoppers and DisneyQuest tickets, from Ticketmania, and never had to activate them. We went to the parks and DQ and put them in the turnstiles without any problems.

I had no idea that they needed to be "activated" either. I don't think that it is something you have to physically do yourself, but I'm not sure. All I know is that when we put them in the reader at DQ the CM said that they hadn't been activated. I felt a wave of panic come over me. (Thinking I had been jipped) The CM just smiled and told me it was no problem and she activated it right there. So, I wonder if it is something that they are supposed to do when Ticketmania buys the tickets....
