Ticket Upgrading with Free Dining and other questions

I believe we will be doing a grand gathering during free dining. I have a few questions I don't have the answers to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hoping to get a two bedroom villa at Kidani for 8 adults and 2 childern(3 and 18 months)

5 adults and the two children will be arriving first from Ohio at around 1 pm.
2 adults will be arriving next from New York at around 5 pm.
Last Adult will be showing up from Florida after work around 7 pm.

1st QUESTION
Does everybody have to be there to check in or can we check in when we arrive?

I am planning to get just one day base tickets for the vacation package.

2nd QUESTION
Can only some of the park tickets be upgraded to add more days and/or parking hopping or would all tickets have to be upgraded the same when we arrive?

My mother will be happy to spend most days sitting around the pool at the AKL and not going to the parks. My sister who lives in Florida already has an annual pass and she would not need park tickets.

3rd QUESTION
Could my sister use her unused day on her one day base ticket towards renewing her annual pass?

Here are some answers based on previous experience at SSR...

1) Not everyone has to be there to check into your room. Just the lead on the reservation.

2)Once everyone has there KTTW card they can go to the guest services desk and upgrade there park ticket choices to anything that they would like.
So yes everyone can have different park tickets put on there card after you check in.

3) Yes..your sister can save her unused 1 day park ticket and use it later towards renewing her annual pass.

I was told that as soon as you check in, have them separate out any tickets that you won't be using on this trip from your KTTW card.
