Ticket upgrade?

If I had a 5-day unused park hopper -- I know you can't exchange but can "upgrade." Would making it two 3-day hoppers be considered an upgrade?

Nope.
Tickets cannot be "split."
You cannot make a single ticket into two tickets.

You're not losing out as much as you might think if you leave some days unused. Tickets are front loaded, so day 4 is "only" worth $35 and day 5 is "only" worth $15.

Thanks you guys! I figured as much. Sigh... long story... I won a Cancun stay at my son's school. But, it only includes the resort. We weren't all that excited about it. It's a $600 value. One of the other parents offered to trade me Disney tickets since she knew we were doing a big Disney/Universal trip this year. She, however, is in California right now with a sick brother and can't remember how many tickets or how many days are on them (they are unused, so I know she can transfer them). We were only planning two Disney days honestly (my son prefers Universal) and one water park day (but I already have a free water park ticket. We are, however, planning on going back once Star Wars land opens. She has four in her family. If she offers me 4 tickets, then, heck, no-brainer. Well use two of them this trip and two next. If there are only a couple, I'll see how many days and decide whether to use them this trip or save the for our next. (Who doesn't remember how many tickets and days they bought?!?! In any event, even two two-day park hopper tickets would be worth it to me honestly... it costs and arm and a leg for a plane ticket to Cancun!)

Disney does not sell "non-expiring" tickets anymore.
However... ALL multi-day MagicYourWay tickets sold automatically never "expire" until they
are first USED.

After they are used for the first time, all of their unused assists will expire 14 days from that first use.

Since she's the mom of one of my son's schoolmates, I trust her. I just want to make sure she never used the tickets once before I agree. She's out of town right now as I said, so can't really remember what she has, but I know she's not trying to scam me. I just wondered if they were many-day tickets what I could do with them.

I just messaged her and she swears these tickets were never used even once. They got them and then didn't go. She just can't remember how many they got and how many days (this I can't fathom forgetting!). Anyway, will let you all know how it all shakes out!
