Ticket upgrade question

If I buy a 4 day ticket and want to upgrade to an Annual Pass can I do it on my last day and get full value?

yes but if you upgrade to preferred, you lost 4 days of using the preferred pass for the discounts for food and merch in the parks and city walk.

I'm doing the cheapest one with which I think is the same price as a 4 day ticket.
I'll have 2 preferred passes this other ticket is will be for a friend who might or might not go again but in case she does I want to have the facts on how to do it.
I know when I get the cheapest pass she IOA will be a blockout day so we will only be able to do Universal but will be there a half day so that is fine.

When you upgrade it just do it from Guest Services inside the park. After upgrading ask them if you will still be able to park hop and they should issue you a ticket for that day.

When you say 2 preferred passes do you mean park to park tickets?

Wait and upgrade the second day then before you leave the park that night
