Ticket Upgrade Question

My family and I are going to Disney in March and we will also be going to Islands of Adventure and Sea World. We had only planned on going to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, but if we have time we would like to park hop those 2 days. My question is can you purchase a regular ticket and then upgrade it to a park hopper? I don't want to go ahead and buy park hopper tickets and it turns out that Magick Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are too busy those days and we don't have time to park hop b/c then that would be a huge waste of money.

Thanks for any input!

You can add the park hopper option when you are there. No point in adding it beforehand if you won't need it.

It costs $50 plus tax per ticket no matter how many days your park passes are good for.

Have fun!

Thanks for the quick reply!! I definitely did not want to add the park hopper option if we couldn't use it.

When I first read your question, I thought you were asking if the park hopper option could get you in to Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld. Then I read it again and realized you were only talking about them to give some background information. :)

Have fun on your trip.
