Ticket upgrade question with package

Can this still be done,

My inlaws are joing us they live in Florida, and are tentatively buying a 10 dining package with a one day ticket, When they get there, once there can they split off thier one day tickets go to guest services at the park , upgrade the onday tickets to florida anual passes and pay the difference. I know its complicated But I remember it use to be done


Any recent help would be appreciated

Yes. They can. I suggest they wait til later in the trip to do so. But this IS possible and if someone tells you it isn't - politely ask for a manager.

Regardless, if you do the ticket swap earlier in the trip, it may mess up dining credits if the CM doesn't do it right -- hence my suggestion to wait til later in the trip.

Don't wait until the last minute when you may have a Magical Express bus to catch.

If not everyone will be upgrading their tickets at the same moment, you can pay for meals with an unmodified room key if one of the modified keys (try this one first) no longer works at restaurants. Then the non-working key can be fixed that evening back at your resort.
