I just booked the buy 4, get 3 free at the Polynesian in May! I am so excited, I have never stayed there and I have always wanted to! I plan on using my annual pass in May, but I bought 7 day no expiration tickets (current gate value is $359.97). My plan is to ask for paper tickets and use 1 day in December and then use the value ($359.97) to upgrade to a DVC annual pass ($392.99). I am correct that this can be done and I would pay a difference of $33.02 to get the annual pass in December? This just seems too good to be true.

Should be right! We just got back, and I'd purchased the 4/3 deal with park hopper non expiration 7 day tickets, and to upgrade the adult tick was an additional $89 (we are not DVC owners). I think the annual passes for regular guests are around $499 for adults.

All together, I upgraded 2 adult and 2 children to annual passes for total with tax $302!!! What a great deal!
