ticket sales are suspended, panicked because we didn’t have the in-laws tickets for November yet. I was able to still buy them and link over the phone from a 3rd party vendor for those in the same boat.

Tried one 3rd party and already blocked. About to try another...we have reservations in October but hadn' purchased tickets yet,

Consider that we don't know, for sure, if even having tickets in-hand will mean a guest can actually get into a park on a given date.
(There are those who wish that they had not bought tickets prior to the shut-downs.)

There is far too much that no one actually knows... to get too upset about what may be happening in the short term.
Just wait a bit and see what happens next.

We were able to purchase tickets for our October trip from Undercover Tourist just now. We tried another 3rd party that was slightly cheaper, but after confirmation email came an email that they couldn't.

They are linked and ready...

DD and I bought tickets beginning Nov 29 some time ago, and the decision to bring along 3 more family members came later. I Had considered buying the additional tickets before the announcement was made to suspend sales. I am glad I waited, as there is WAY too much uncertainty. No doubt things will change. Restrictions And conditions may loosen OR tighten. Travelling from Canada at that time may not even be an option.

Interesting times ahead, and all we can do is stay in “wait & see” mode for now. While the reduced number of admissions is extremely attractive, other conditions may cancel this trip altogether for us. In the meantime, doing our part to stay healthy is more important than worrying about the things we cannot control.

I would agree.
While we have a little information, there are a LOT of details regarding just about everything that haven't been released yet.
We are still planning to go in October, but have no idea what that trip really will look like.
Got an email about park hours with EPCOT opening some days at 11 instead of 9? and other weird changes.

Lots of changes ahead.

We had a DVC stay booked prior to the announcement but were still deciding what to do with tickets (we had DL tickets from UT that we were planning to switch to WDW). With the announcement, I quickly accelerated that process on Wednesday afternoon. I got my e-tickets right away and was able to link through the website (not the app). They were date specific 5 day base tickets for first week of August. Today the expiration just changed in MDE to 9/26/21, so Disney knows my tickets exist. Fingers crossed there are no issues when park reservations open up!

No, but I did have to call Disney to get them linked. I have since heard others linked them on the desktop site with out issues though. Good luck!
I was able to link through the desktop site. Hopefully things smooth out some but definitely sped up our time on buying tickets.

I tried to get tickets today for our daughter and her s/o through UT. I was able to add the two tickets (7 day PH), but it would not allow me to enter a start date and therefore, not complete the purchase. Did UT cease the ticket sales--I know they were still selling over the weekend?

The kids have a reservation at YC for the bulk of their stay and with us for a couple days at BCV. They only decided to book a few weeks ago and didn't rush out to buy tickets because we did not even have an opening date. It will seriously tick me off if they are unable to obtain tickets for our October stay despite having had the room reservation prior to the recent changes and moratorium by Disney on ticket sales.

People on other threads have reported that they seemed to have reach capacity on them. They don't have anymore
