ticket requirements for Free Dining Package?

i know in years past you could purchase the package but only get a one day one park ticket for each member of your party. this fulfilled the ticket obligation in order to qualify for the package and get the free dining.

is that the case with the current offer?

We generally buy annual passes and are to renew them this July. our plan is to do that and then purchase the one day, one park tickets for each member of our family - then not use them. they don't expire because we don't use them and we then hold onto them for two years and apply the value of them to our next AP purchase. We have done this in years past, but i know that details change, so i want to check.

According to Mousesavers, the free dining promos have had a 2 day base ticket requirement since fall of 2010.
