A friend of mine went to Disney last August during one of the hurricanes. Because the parks were closed, she was issued a 5 day park hopper from Disney to be used within a year. She is not going to be able to make it before the tickets expire and wants to give the tickets to me because she knows I am going in August. Would the tickets be somehow tied to her name making them unusable for me? Also, could I use an adult ticket for a child?

I'm not sure that I even want to attempt using them but she keeps insisiting that she doesn't want them to go to waste.

Thanks for your help,
Joanne

I would guess that these are paper tickets and so there are no names on them like the plastic room key/tickets. If this is the case I don't see why you couldn't use them. Let's see what others think.

Can I use an adult ticket for a child's admission?

I have these also, and they're not paper, they're the 'key cards' just like the every day ones you get when you check in....but I can't remember if my name is on it or not (they're in my suitcase right now waiting for the trip!!!) :wizard:

how old is the child? If they look close to 10, then it would not be a problem at all. Otherwise, I am not sure if the cm at the gate will really notice, as long as the ticket works.
