ticket questions

A friend of mine went to Disney last August during one of the hurricanes. Because the parks were closed, she was issued a 5 day park hopper from Disney to be used within a year. She is not going to be able to make it before the tickets expire and wants to give the tickets to me because she knows I am going in August. Would the tickets be somehow tied to her name making them unusable for me? Also, could I use an adult ticket for a child?

I'm not sure that I even want to attempt using them but she keeps insisiting that she doesn't want them to go to waste.

I would guess that these are paper tickets and so there are no names on them like the plastic room key/tickets. If this is the case I don't see why you couldn't use them. Let's see what others think.

The way I say it is, if the ticket is totally unused, anybody may use it and you may even sell it.

The rule is, "all days and plusses and privileges must be used by the same person".

I have these also, and they're not paper, they're the 'key cards' just like the every day ones you get when you check in....but I can't remember if my name is on it or not (they're in my suitcase right now waiting for the trip!!!)

how old is the child? If they look close to 10, then it would not be a problem at all. Otherwise, I am not sure if the cm at the gate will really notice, as long as the ticket works.
