Ticket Questions

1)Bringing my mom to WDW with us in May- we have APs but need to get my mom a 7 day ticket. I'd like an easy smooth worry-free transaction when I link the tickets to my MDE account for FP+ - Suggestions on where to purchase ticket from?
I have heard conflicting info on being able to let mom use the DVC 25th anniversary tickets. I can save a small bit if I go through UCT- but is it worth the savings/easier to just get direct from WDW?


2)Our APs expire end of May 2016. We will be in WDW first week of May- I have heard that I can upgrade 1 of the APs to Gold AP for $20 in order to get the Memory Maker added for the trip. Anyone have experience with this?

We use UCT with the Mouse Saver discount and have never had a problem.

Undercover tickets are just as easy to get and use as direct.

I haven't upgraded to a Gold but yes, that's they way it is able to be done.

I spoke with member services the other day regarding the DVC 25th anniversary ticket - I'm sending my daughter and her kids down for Easter this year on points.
They told me I could buy the tickets and just assign it to her. I would double check because we all know that different cast members will sometimes have different answers.

In answer to your question #2, our APs expire in February. In December we upgraded mine to a Gold Pass specifically to get the MM benefit. Cost less than $20.
