We are taking our dd's friend with us on our upcoming July trip. My DH, DD and I have already ordered our two day park hopper tickets.
My DD's friend (15) has a youth non- expiry ticket with a day left on it from a previous visit. Can we take that ticket and upgrade it for her to an Adult ticket and add one more day to it?
Final question, are FP+ tickets exchangeable? What I mean is if I make a FP+ reservation under my ticket could my DD's friend use it instead of me? The reason I ask is that if we cannot finalize the friends ticket till we arrive then that stops me from booking my DD's FP+ rides as she will always want to ride with her friend. I do not mind not riding and giving the friend my FP+ spot.

1) children are not penalized for becoming adults, so there is no need to upgrade the ticket to adult to use the last day left on the ticket.

2) tickets cannot be upgraded after 14 days from the first use of the ticket. so if they bought a 9-day no-expire ticket last year and used 8 days of the ticket, it's not possible to upgrade that ticket now.

not sure about FP+. i think you can do it but you'd have to give her your MB or ticket.

You can exchange the ticket for an adult one but the non-expiry ticket itself cannot be upgraded. An additional ticket will need to be purchased outright. For FP+ your daughter's friend will be able to use your MB to ride with your DD.
