We are planning to get our tickets soon for our trip in Sept. We are planning on purchasing either 7 or 8 day passes. We are considering the magic your way tickets and the hopper tickets. We decided that we don't need the "options" because we have young children (4 and 1) and wouldn't get use out of them.

Our finances are pretty tight right now and I was trying to figure out what would be the best option for us. We are going to purchase the tickets though the mousesavers newsletter links. If we get the hopper option, we would most likely get the 7 day pass so we can sneak into a couple of parks a few of the days. If we don't get the hopper we would get the 8 day pass so we can go to the Magic Kingdom the morning we leave. I've never been to Disney without the hopper option and don't know if it is the right choice. But, not having it will save about $100 and on our budget it will help.

Thanks for any opinions. :)

If you are staying in a Disney resort, you may want to go with the hopper. This way, with young kids, you could go rest in the afternoon before going to a park for the evening. It would give you much more flexibility. If you plan on only going to a park in the morning and staying all day, or are staying off-site, you may not need the hopper.

You can still take a break in the afternoons - even if you do not add the hopper option. You would just return to the same park in the evening that you visited in the morning.

Best wishes -
