Ticket question

My husband, I and our kids are going for spring break (I know, lol). Because of his work schedule, he can only go to the parks with us for three days. But when I booked our package, we all have 6 day tickets. Can I cut just his ticket back to 3 days? I have a feeling no, since it is a package.
Or can I use his ticket for an extra fast pass on the the last three days when he's not there? I' afraid this might violate the rule about using fast passes without an admission (because I wont be able to tap him in at the entrance, even though I totally would if I could - I'm not trying to get over on the system, I swear!)

Any thoughts?

Probably too late but you could have booked "room only" with tickets separately. And as already mentioned. you cannot use his ticket for the fast passes.

If you are not getting a package that REQUIRES minimum tickets, just re-book as "room-only" and
just cancel the package that includes the tickets.
Buy any tickets that actually fit your needs, separately (from a discounter, if you like.)
