Spring Direct Incentives 2/9-4/27

There have been multiple reports of this recently from others on the boards. Seems to potentially be a new policy. Did this just happen to you? I'm sure everyone would enjoy hearing the details.
Today is day 7 for me and I have not heard back from my guide despite phone call and email. Just curious if they are strict on the 7 days.

Sometimes guides have the day off or are on vacation. If you leave a message or email that you want to purchase, they will honor it.

Basically, they need a record of you saying yes to purchase (when a guide is unavailable).

Yep, if you have left a voicemail and sent an e-mail confirming unequivocally that you would like to buy X number of points at Y resort, you should be locked in. My guide explicitly says that in her VM.

If you have questions you want answered before day 7 goes by before you decide what you're doing, I would call member services and find someone to talk to.

We plan on doing a small point add on - likely on DCL next time we are on board. I guess those offers are only good on the boat...

So I suppose they could go down this road of less pricing transparency, but we will see if it is successful...

I don’t think this is correct and I think this is also misunderstanding what folks have reported. To my knowledge no one has been denied the incentives beyond 7 days from their tour, if they had these boards would blow up lol. What I am reading is that you have 7 days from your tour to guarantee those incentives. Beyond that they can change or go away and you’re out of luck. This is particularly important when we are at the tail end of incentive window. Also it seems that they will not start a new 7 day window in that same incentive period, so you have 1 7 day window to guarantee the pricing and incentives.

You could be right, but there have definitely been some reports of guides telling people that, after the 7-days during any given incentive period, you simply have to wait until the next incentive period. The one situation of which I'm personally aware (involving my guide), they were eventually able to secure the purchase, but it took some work to get it done.

I would love to fill out the net promoter score after that interaction….
