Where would be the best place to buy tickets if we are planning on hitting the parks the 8-11 this week? If we buy on line from Disney is the email a 24 hour thing or instant? We are coming from the west coast of Canada, which makes a difference. Tried Expedia but it says the tickets aren’t available until the 10th. If we wait to purchase them are we going to be hit with the price increase when we go to the counter on the 8th? Thank you in advance

The ticket price already went into affect. You’ll be best off buying direct from Disney with the ticket offer they have going for 3 day or more tickets right now. Those tickets load into the app immediately and you’ll also get an email.

I bought our tickets online through Disney and they showed up immediately.

Yeah, the special discounts right now are the best bet, if you were going during a blackout date or after the deals are over, then I would suggest getting tickets now through a legitimate third party ticket broker that still has tickets at the old prices.

I wanted to remind you that you only get MAGIC MORNING entitlement (at Disneyland NOT California Adventure) IF you buy a multi-day ticket (3 days or more) IN ADVANCE. Tickets purchased at ticket booth do NOT get MAGIC MORNING ENTRY for Disneyland. The fine print reads "purchased online" but take this to mean "purchased in advance and NOT at ticket booth". :-)

Here's the fine print from Disney's website:

Magic Morning allows one early admission into select attractions, stores, entertainment and dining locations at Disneyland Resort Park before the park opens to the general public.

For admission, each member of your travel party (ages 3 and older) must have a valid 3-day or longer Disneyland Resort theme park ticket purchased online.

Tickets purchased at the Ticket Booth do not include the Magic Morning entitlement.

To enhance the Magic Morning experience, please arrive at least one hour and 15 minutes prior to regular park opening. Magic Morning early admission is based on availability and does not operate daily. Applicable days and times of operation and all other elements including, but not limited to, operation of attractions, entertainment, stores and restaurants, and appearances of Characters, may vary and are subject to change without notice. Subject to capacity, cancellation and other restrictions.

If you check out this DIS thread, you can read up on where people were still able to buy tickets at "old prices". Unfortunately, I do not know turn around time or what those "old" ticket prices may be:

Also since your visit falls within Disney's LIMITED TIME SPECIAL TICKET OFFER make sure you buy compare ticket prices bought via THIS promotion
VS ticket prices bought at "old ticket" prices
VS "new ticket" prices.

For example, on Disney's website "new ticket" prices for 5 Day Hopper is USD$395 (Adult) & USD$375 (Child)
VS Limited Time Special Ticket Offer is USD$289 for Ages 3+ (Adult or Child Tickets).

Maybe this limited time special offer is even better than tickets bought at the "old prices"?

As well ... as per my other post ... you only get Magic Morning entry to Disneyland for tickets bought "in advance" (NOT at ticket booth) for multi-day tickets which are 3+ days in length.

Have fun and good luck! :-)

EDITED: I just found out that there is also a CANADIAN RESIDENT'S SPECIAL during your travel period. Worth checking out. :-) See link below and POST #5 from the thread below:

Thank you everyone. Still haven’t purchased tickets, not so concerned with magic morning... our last magic morning was massive line ups to get in the park. I think we will end up purchasing through the app. However, flight centre would likely save us a bit of money not getting dinged forex credit card fees and whatever they’re giving for today’s exchange rate. This time tomorrow we should be in the park, we arrive at Sna before noon!!
