We are coming down to Florida in February 2019. We arrive on February 14 and will be staying 4 nights at World Quest Resort Orlando. We are staying there for my son's soccer tournament. On Monday, February 18, we will move to Pop Century for 4 nights. I want to buy tickets for Disney Parks and there is a deal to buy 4 days and get one free day. If I use a ticket on Friday the 14th, I will not be checked into my Disney Resort. Can I use my Magic Band? Also, do I have 14 days to use the tickets after the first use? Just unsure of how to do this. Thank you in advance for any help or advice you have to offer. I hope that I included all of the info.

1. WHO (what company) is offering that "deal."
2. Yes. MBs are operational from the time you get them.
3. Depending upon from where you buy your tickets, in many cases, you must pay extra to be able do this.
In many cases, you will have just 7-8 days to use all 5 days worth of tickets if you don't pay the "up-charge"
(which may work fine for your trip... but you ASKED about 14 days.)

Robo what do you mean OP has to pay extra? I think as long as you use all ticket days within the 14 days you are fine. The new dates ticket entries are a bit more complicated but the buy 4, get 1 day free sounds like something from an authorized reseller. Is that correct OP?

In my experience OP shouldn’t have any issues. For FPs, your window will open 60 days from your initial check-in. At that point you will be able to get FPs for your days while at Pop, plus the days between now and then, including that earlier date.

The tickets are through an authorized reseller. I don't think we can say the names on here.

You should provide the name and if they are the old MYW Tickets or the new, as of 10/16/18, Theme Park Tickets.

Then your question can be answered correctly.

Tickets from undercover tourist. Old style tickets! Sorry, Robo. I'm not trying to be difficult. I just don't want to break any rules.
The names of ticket resellers are in every ticket and AP thread on this board.

You’ll have a 14-day window to use your tickets and yes to all your questions.

You didn’t ask about booking FPs but when your 60-day FP booking window opens for your onsite stay, it includes booking FPs for all park days beginning on the 14th.
